HOW YOU CAN HELP

All Paws Rescue is entirely run byvolunteers, we do not have a shelter all of our rescue dogs and pups are placed into foster homes where they gain a loving and safe home in preparation for adoption. We do not receive any government funding and solely rely on our supporters and volunteers to donate or help us fundraise tocontinue our rescue work.

Fostering is rewarding and definitely a life saving way you can help animals. By offering to foster it allows us to save animals that might otherwise have no place to go. It also offers a free a position in a pound, shelter or emergency temporary foster that can be used by another animal in need.

At All Paws Rescue we provide veterinary care, food, supplies and support, you provide a safe and loving home. You choose the foster options that best suit your lifestyle. Can you offer emergency fostering of 1-2 days, or fostering during certain times of the year, for weeks or months, can you offer fostering for a dog or puppy through to adoption? Which age dogs or puppies can you foster?

Being a foster parent is a commitment and often with an unknown history or backgrounds of neglect, abuse and isolation our dogs and puppies may need help from you with learning to trust, learning basic training including toilet training, crate training, providing nourishment and learning the social skills they need to become part of a family.

All our dogs and puppies are part of the family so are inside dogs, they sleep inside, they are not outside chained dogs. Your property will need to be securely fenced and if not owner occupied you will need permission from your landlord. You will be required to update All Paws Rescue on how your foster is managing and be willing to have potential adopters come to meet your foster dog or pup. Meets can be arranged on mutual territory and at a time that is suitable for all parties. All Paws Rescue is responsible for re-homing each of our foster dogs. Fostering time periods and can vary from week(s) to month(s).

Want to help but at this time can no foster? How about being a transporter? We need drivers both locally and occasionally intercity to help us transport rescued pups when you can. Supporters & Volunteers, Fundraising and Promotion- Are you interested in holding stalls, raffles or having garage sales. Organising fundraising club or school events. Handing out All Paws Rescue leaflets and posters to local veterinary clinics and animal friendly businesses. Promoting us on social media. Do you have skills that we can benefit from? Do you own a business or have items that you could donate for raffles? Please contact us as help is always needed and we would love to hear from you.
